Edited to add:
my mom (ever the perfectionist) hates this photo because her shoes don’t match the dress. right before this photo was taken, she was outside playing when my grandfather showed up with a brand new car. she immediately ran inside to change into something that would “match” the car but forgot to change out of her playing shoes :)
