The genocide that is currently taking place within the Democratic Republic of Congo, is in every way a war against women. As in wars past, throughout the world, rape and things much worse (if you can imagine that) are tactics of war. It should be noted that in this context women should be seen as females as these methods of warfare show no age preference, its happening to girls as young as 4 and women as old as 80. Didn’t we say, “never again”.
